Another New Overseas Order Shipped | Hebei Jiachi Sends 1,000 Tons of Drinking-Water-Specific Epoxy Powder to Thailand to Support Overseas Domestic Water Pipeline Renovation

Recently, the container loading yard of Hebei Jiachi Rubber & Plastic Products Co., Ltd. was bustling with activity. A total of 1,000 tons of customized food-grade internal and external wall anti-corrosion epoxy powder completed loading and inspection procedures. The cargo departed from Cangzhou Port for Bangkok, Thailand, to be applied to a key urban water supply pipeline upgrading project locally, marking the company’s landmark foreign trade order in Southeast Asia this year.

Thailand features a tropical climate with high temperature, high humidity and highly saline soil. Conventional anti-corrosion coatings are prone to peeling, pipeline rusting and water contamination. After comparing coating products from numerous domestic and overseas suppliers, the general contractor of the project selected Jiachi special FBE (Fusion Bonded Epoxy) powder for potable water service. Passing international safety tests for contact with drinking water, this product boasts outstanding salt spray resistance, UV resistance, pinhole-free coating and strong adhesion, which can extend the service life of buried pipelines by over three times.

To meet the project’s requirements for two designated RAL color codes, RAL3020 Red and RAL6029 Roller-Coating Green, the company’s technical department finished a full set of simulation tests including color matching, hydrolysis resistance and impact strength in advance. A dedicated quality inspection channel for overseas orders has been established in the production workshop.
